A DICKENSIAN CHRISTMAS
Start time: 7.30pm
A Christmas Carol, Charles Dickens' timeless story of redemption, semi-staged and interspersed with music and carols. Performed in the atmospheric candlelit setting of the Cathedral Retroquire, this newly devised show blends the familiar tale of the visitations of the spirits of Christmas past, present and future, with well known carols and other music appropriate to the world of Ebenezer Scrooge. Bringing together the talents of professional singers and actors based at the Cathedral, the evening promises to transport us into the magical Christmas world of Charles Dickens, to enjoy the beauty of Christmas music, with an added shiver up the spine. Complimentary mulled wine and mince pies will be served during the interval.
