Venue: The Railway map ![]() Address: 3 St Pauls Hill, Winchester, Hampshire, SO22 5AE Telephone: 01962 867795 Event: TEENAGEWAITRESS.PPT – A Rock’n’Roll Powerpoint On Songs - Doors 7.30pm - Daniel J. Ash (Teenage Waitress) has gone and done something very stupid. He’s recorded a new album that he cannot perform. To solve this problem, and to fill his quota of anxiety-based meltdowns for the year, he has written a one-man show about his favourite subject in the world. Songs. It contains music, stories, reflections on songwriting, and visuals. When it came to how to present these various elements into a coherent show Daniel agreed that there was only one piece of software fit for the task. “It simply HAD to be Microsoft Powerpoint” he explains, “I mean have you seen those slide transitions?!?” TEENAGEWAITRESS.PPT is a playful blend of storytelling and music. In the show Daniel discusses and performs happy songs, sad songs, long songs, short songs, very short songs, stupid songs, love songs, duet songs, murder songs, song songs, and just about everything and anything in-between. ♫♪♪ Venue notes: ID is required on the door.
