Performance by: Lydia Kavina One of the world’s best - known theremin performer. She began learning the theremin when she was nine years old, studying with Leon Theremin, her grandfather's cousin. Author of the project/ Presenter: Dr Tatyana Shuttleworth was educated as a classical conductor (Russia), singer (MMus, UK) and musicologist (PhD., University of Manchester). She has been active on the international stage as a performer and conductor since 1989. Tickets: Non-members £25 available at the door, members: donations, special rate for Local Cultural Societies: £12.50. Donations will also be invited for the piano appeal.
